I'm Mark Hunanyan, a technical artist and creative technologist. I was born in 1991 at the tender age of zero. One of my favorite childhood memories is getting an 8-bit Famicom in the early '90s. I still remember the excitement of connecting it to an old black and white TV and playing my first interactive experiences with a controller in my hands. It felt like discovering an entirely new world. I was captivated by the idea that pressing buttons could bring digital worlds to life.
That curiosity only grew stronger. As I got older, I got my first computer, a Dell Inspiron 7000, a budget laptop released in 1997. It opened the door to a much bigger universe. I became fascinated by how games and software were made, and I wanted to understand everything happening behind the screen.
Then I came across a copy of Discreet 3ds Max 5, and everything changed. It felt like a new dimension had opened up. Instead of just experiencing digital worlds, I could create them. From that moment on, I knew this was what I wanted to do professionally.
Over the years, I've learned through experimentation, mistakes, and persistence. Every project has been an opportunity to improve, not only my technical skills but also the way I think about creativity, interaction, and design.
I believe the best work comes from genuine curiosity and a passion for creating. Whether I'm building interactive experiences, designing digital art, or tackling technical challenges, I enjoy turning ideas into something real. That mindset keeps me learning, improving, and creating work that people can genuinely enjoy and connect with.
